Components

Some key building blocks combine to deliver Mx-VDev™, our premium desktop specification and test tool. These are:

Mx-SpecIt™

Requirements Specification and Test Specification – for defining the expected behavior (requirements) of a control system Pass/Fail criteria definition, including comprehensive support for Tolerances.

Mx-SyncIt™

Maps the same systems engineering test vectors to any test harness. This is a unique technology for achieving true test re-use and portability between MIL, SIL, HIL. The ConnectIt technology is the interconnect lattice that supports Virtual Communication Busses, Co-Simulation with multiple Systems-Under-Test (SUT), and Signal Transformations.

Mx-CheckIt™

An important building block needed for full automation is Automated Pass/Fail Assessment. Mx-CheckIt™ provides a deterministic, repeatable, objective assessment of whether a system performed within tolerance.

Mx-ConnectIt™

This is a set of custom interfaces that provide the connectivity between the Mx-Suite™ and other tools in the development chain, such as Simulink, Statemate, or a particular HIL tester.

Mx-ExecIt™

This is the executive that coordinates the execution of individual test scenarios or complete suites, which confining the SUT’s to run in a synchronous or asynchronous mode.

Although together these components comprise Mx-VDev™, in many cases one or more of these components can be deployed separately to deliver key functionality for enterprise automation solutions.
